我们的学校是一个欢乐、幸福的大家庭。“非典”时期，我们学校同全国各地一样，不论领导、老师和全体同学，都能统一认识，团结合作，这就更增加了我们对学校的了解，对学校的热爱。在这特殊的日子里，学校领导和老师们给予了我们亲人般的关怀、爱护，同学之间亲如兄弟姐妹，这一切都感动着我，温暖着我，使我对学校产生了一份特殊的浓浓的感情。
我们的学校是人才的摇篮。陆良的七月骄阳似火，世间万物充满生机，就连天空都升腾着希望。这对小百户中学来说，更是一个令人热血沸腾的收获季节。纵观全县、全市、全省乃至全国，五湖四海，各行各业，哪里没有小百户人在贡献，哪里没有小百户中学的毕业生？
我们的学校是农村初级中学的样板。远的不说，单是近几年，我们的学校先后被省、市县评为先进示范学校、文明学校，上一年，又光荣地跃升为二级一等学校，跻身于行列。与此同时，我们学校今年在扩大办学规模的同时，又向学校稳步前进，满怀信心地争取省级绿色学校称号，这对每一个小百户中学的人来说更是一件值得骄傲的事。
