大家好!十分感谢曙光双语学校能够给予我这样的一个机会让我来到这个地方作自我介绍，我叫赵春晓，听起来是一个很女性化的名字，但是它却具有十分主要的好处。它除了能够说明我是出生于春天的清晨，更重要的是这个名字饱含了一个父亲对一个儿子的期望，这个名字饱含了三个“第一”：赵，百家姓之首，春，四季之首，晓，一天之首。寓意是一年之际在于春，一天之际在于晨。
但是很令我愧疚的是，我在很长的一段时光里面是愧对于我的父亲和我的名字，因为我无法用优异的成绩来回答我的父亲。但是我一向没有放下过，我一向在努力，从初中一年级的差生到初三年级的尖子生，并出人意料地考入了淮阴县中学就是此刻的淮州中学。从进入高中时候的700多名到高三年级的300名，这些表现都在见证着我的努力和进步。在高中的生活中，我担任了班级里面的学习委员，并在“建团八十周年的征文”大赛中，我的诗歌《林中的黑影》荣获了征文大赛一等奖，并在《淮安日报》上发表，我想那是我在中学生活中，最开心和最骄傲的事情了。在六年的生活中，从一个农村走出来的孩子，为他的生活，为他的理想而奋斗着，有成功有失败。在这个六年中，我明白了如果你认准一个目标，只要你坚持不懈，那么你必须会获得成功。即使没有雷雨之后没有彩虹，至少是一个好天气。

i am a third year master major in automation at shanghai jiao tong university, p. r. china. with tremendous interest in industrial engineering, i am writing to apply for acceptance into your ph.d. graduate program.
education background
in 1995, i entered the nanjing university of science & technology (nust) -- widely considered one of the china’s best engineering schools. during the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. i was granted first class prize every semester,in 1999, i got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.
at the period of my graduate study, my overall gpa(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. in the second semester, i became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. this year, i won the acer scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. presently, i am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of e_cellent graduation thesis.
research e_perience and academic activity
when a sophomore, i joined the association of ai enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. with the tool of opengl and matlab, i designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. it is now widely used by different research groups in nust. i assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for nanjing sewage treatment plant. this was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
in retrospect, i find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and e_perience, which has prepared me for the ph.d. program. my future research interests include: network scheduling problem, heuristic algorithm research (especially in ga and neural network), supply chain network research, hybrid system performance analysis with petri nets and data mining.

我的家乡江宁，虽没有纽约一样的繁华，也没有威尼斯一样的浪漫气息，更没有东京一样的朴素典雅，但我却执着地深爱着她，我总被这里善良、淳朴的居民们，与日趋渐长的高科技术深深地吸引着。
我的家乡很美。那是一个风景秀丽、山清水秀的江南小城。改革开放后，我的家乡发生了天翻地覆地变化，人们的生活有了很大的改善，羊肠小路变成了宽阔的大道，小城里河水变清了，路边的小草变绿了。大街小巷建了许多休闲娱乐的广场……
以前，当我要去儿童医院看病时，先要从家走路15分钟到公交车站，乘101路公交车坐到中华门城堡，然后再转车到珠江路，再从珠江路车站转车或者走一段路才能到医院。现在地铁就在我家附近，原来一个多小时的路程，现在坐地铁只要半个小时左右就能到医院了。有了地铁，我再也不要等一个又一个的红绿灯了，不堵车，准时准点，出行更便捷了。
现在我们小区附近有很多休闲广场，原来在我们小学旁边的区政府前也有广场不过很小，广场只能让很少的人去玩，附近有很多居民一点也不方便。如今可好，政府掏钱做了个很大的广场，在楼房的正中有个大屏幕，可以让人看到电视，中间的空地很大，可以尽情的玩耍。白天有人放风筝、散步。晚上就更热闹了，广场上播放着优雅的音乐，有的人跟着音乐跳舞、有的人坐在那看电视，当然，还有些孩子在广场上奔跑着、嬉戏着。现在广场下面还建起了商业区，电影院等，购物、休闲、娱乐与一体，给人们带来了更多的方便，极大地丰富了人们的物质与精神生活。
20__年8月，青奥会成功的在南京举行。千千万万的海外友人四面八方赶来观看青奥会，无论是哪国人，大家都在一起开心的交谈着;无论有什么困难，人们都互相帮助着，暖融融，热腾腾的。江宁在青奥会期间是南京的交通主要枢纽，我期待它是个低碳环保、便捷的城市。环保的电动汽车奔驰在马路上，不排放一点尾气，让人们十分舒服。特别是每一辆出租车，都拥有个一台微型智能装置，如果有外宾上车，能自动识别外宾的身份，并用英语与他打招呼。这台微型智能装置具有翻译功能，可以将外宾要到达的地方立刻翻译成中文，用中文字幕显示给出租车司机。这样，司机就能在短时间内明白外宾要去地方，提供最快捷的服务。而且这台微型智能装置还可以播放南京城市的中英文版简介，并且配备南京市的电子地图，让外宾有宾至如归的感觉。

这天，很荣幸走上讲台，和那么多乐意为班级作贡献的同学一道，竞选班干部职务。我想，我将用旺盛的精力、清醒的头脑来做好班干部工作，来发挥我的长处帮忙同学和x班群众共同努力进步
我从小学到此刻班干部一年没拉下，但我一身干净，没有“官相官态”，“官腔官气”;少的是畏首畏尾的私虑，多的是敢做敢为的闯劲。
我想我该当个实干家，不需要那些美丽的词汇来修饰。工作锻炼了我，生活造就了我。戴尔卡耐基说过“不要怕推销自我，只要你认为自我有才华，你就就应认为自我有资格提任这个或那个职务”。
我相信，凭着我新锐不俗的“官念”，凭着我的勇气和才干，凭着我与大家同舟共济的深厚友情，这次竞选演讲给我带来的必定是下次的就职演说。我会在任何时候，任何状况下，都首先是“想同学们之所想，急同学们之所急。”我决不信奉“无过就是功”的信条，恰恰相反，我认为一个班干部“无功就是过”。因为本人平时与大家相处融洽，人际关系较好，这样在客观上就减少了工作的阻力。我将与风华正茂的同学们在一齐，指点江山，发出我们青春的呼喊。当师生之间发生矛盾时，我必须明辨是非，敢于坚持原则。个性是当教师的说法或做法不尽正确时，我将敢于用心为同学们谋求正当的权益如果同学们对我不信任，随时能够提出“不信任案”，对我进行弹劾。你们放心，弹劾我不会像弹劾克林顿那样麻烦，我更不会死赖不走。
既然是花，我就要开放;既然是树，我就要长成栋梁;既然是石头，我就要去铺出大路;既然是班干部，我就要成为一名出色的领航员!
流星的光辉来自天体的摩擦，珍珠的璀璨来自贝壳的眼泪，而一个班级的优秀来自班干部的领导和全体同学的共同努力。

我的家乡在江宁区东山镇，面朝着外秦淮河，背靠的就是成语“东山再起”故事中的东山，环境优美的没话说。可是我经常听见妈妈说：“如果有一天，你离开了家乡，最让你怀念的，肯定是小区大大小小的几个广场。”咦?这是为什么呢?闭上眼睛仔细一想，突然明白了：因为广场给了我太多的快乐啊!
我生活的小区是个比较成熟的现代小区，供居民休闲活动的广场自然是少不了的，其中我最喜欢的是小区的中央广场。这个广场风景如画，有参天的大树和四季都能看到的美丽花朵，广场采用的是下沉是结构，所以空间显得很大，视野十分开阔。当第一声春雷炸响，樱花第一个绽开了美丽的笑脸，它们一团团，一簇簇的开放在枝头，小鸟也跟着站在树枝上忘情地唱着歌。四月中旬，紫藤花也加入了“春天大派对”，一串串风铃似的淡紫色的花，害羞的躲在茂密的树叶后面摇曳，一阵微风拂过，仿佛真的能听见清脆的风铃声……一夜之间，好像昨日还在睡梦中的万物如听见了命令一样，全醒来了!此时的广场如梦似幻仙境一般，令人向往。
春姑娘刚刚迈着轻盈的脚步悄然离去，夏哥哥就迫不及待地登上了四季的舞台，夏夜的广场是我们的“开心乐园”!我和我的小伙们一等夜幕降临，暑气消散得差不多时就一窝蜂的冲向广场，先自己玩一会单杠，双杠，热热身，大家都到齐了，开始我们的重头戏“混战足球”，每一次我们都玩得大汗淋漓，衣服都能拧出水来，比世界杯上的足球明星们一点也不逊色，但是大家都不在乎这些，照样天天到场，甩开一切烦恼，尽情的玩耍……
入了秋，广场就更热闹拉!，白天一大拨一大拨的鸟儿拼命的在水上和地上找食物，它们在储备冬天的口粮。晚上，广场舞奶奶们带着音响来到广场跳起了健身舞。金秋十月，丹桂飘香，整个广场弥漫这浓浓的桂花香，这时我和小伙伴们带着小口袋在桂花树下，闻着沁人心脾的花香，摘着金黄的小花朵，好让我们的妈妈们给我们做桂花糕。
严冬时节，广场一角的睡莲池结了冰，我们这几个“皮猴”就把冰捞上来，打磨成冰枪，开始了陆地阻击战。要是下雪了，我们iu堆雪人，打雪仗，……冬天广场带给我们的快乐一点也亚于其他季节。
还有其他几个小广场，每个都各有特色，小区后湖的广场有个大大的秋千，记得小时候我特别喜爱坐在上面，让妈妈推着我，迎着风悠荡起来，那飞一般的感觉可爽了，现在我太重了，不能坐在上面荡了，但是我还是喜欢坐在秋千上，回忆着往事‘
家乡的广场给了我多少的欢乐，又给了我多么快乐的童年啊!
妈妈说的没错，当我长大后，远在他乡的时候，我最怀念的肯定是小区的广场!

啊!美丽的___，我的家!是您溢满灵气的山水养育了无数的英雄豪杰，仁人志士，一代又一代的建设者们又在这块土地上描绘着最新最美的图画。我想高歌：“我爱你___，我美丽的家!”
今天，我们以美丽的家乡为荣，明天我们将让家乡以我们为傲!
